Housing Blog Impressions???

I was just curious of what you think when you stumble accross Blogs like these? What were you looking for? Did you find it in the content, links, etc.??

I stumbled accross Housing Blogs when I was selling and looking for a new Home. I just couldn't beleive the prices that people were asking and I got suspicious and started looking for more info.

While Canadian Blogs are still forecasting a real estate correction, American Blogs have had their predictions realized. It was interesting to read, last year, the debates on those Blogs. Now there isn't really any debate, the Housing Bubble has popped and the media has even started to report what these Blogs had been forecasting 2 years ago.

Go check out Ben's Real Estate Blog, it's over on my side bar under Feeds. He does a great job of finding Housing related News Articles that show the ugly of the US Housing Market.

The posters in his comments section offer some good counter spin to these, sometimes surprising, Housing Articles.

Some Housing Bubble Videos.

"Paper Money - A US Real Estate Bubble Blog", has compiled a library of Housing Bubble related videos.

The latest Videos are Advertisement's created by the "National Association of Realtors" trying to market buying and selling Real Estate in the US.

When you see these two Ads back to back it really shows how hypocritical this industry is.

I have just added a new Blog Feed to my side bar. It's a section in Business Week Online called Hot Property. There should be some interesting Posts in there.

I'll keep it up for awhile and see how it goes.

An Example of the Declining US Housing Market

Here is a post that I found on a Realtor's Blog. She tells a story of a House that was purchased 18 months ago for $595,000 it ended up selling for $439,000 after being on the market for 75 days.

I guess Real Estate does go down. In this case 26%

Vancouver House Prices Declining.....20% by the end of 2007??

Take a look at the "Vancouver Housing Market Blog". There are a few good posts, with some analysis on the Vancouver Housing Market. Looks like prices, in some areas, are dropping slowly month to month.

If this trend keeps going there will be a 20% drop, by year end, in some Vancouver areas.
